Play Today's Fast Break

Daily NBA stat-based trivia game

Fill the grid by matching players to the stat prompt. Each day brings a new challenge with fresh clues.

What Is Fast Break?

Fast Break is a daily NBA stat challenge where you complete a grid by entering every player that matches the prompt. It's built for fans who know the league deeply and want a quick, high-skill daily puzzle.

How To Play

Use the prompt to identify valid players and fill all cells before running out of strikes.

Green means a correct match. A strike means the guess does not satisfy the prompt. You get three strikes total.

Work Through the Prompt

Read the whole clue before naming a player. Check whether it asks for a career total, a single season, a specific team, or a particular stretch of NBA history. A player who meets the statistical threshold can still be wrong if the team or years do not match.

An Example of the Reasoning

For a hypothetical clue asking for 2,000-point seasons with one franchise, a player with 2,100 points for that team qualifies; a 1,900-point season does not. A 2,100-point season for a different team also fails. Check the total and the team together before submitting your guess.

Make Every Guess Count

Start with the players you are most confident about, then work through the remaining possibilities by era or role. Re-read the clue when you get stuck: confusing a season total with a career total is an easy way to waste a strike. Use the daily challenge to test your basketball memory rather than guessing names at random.
